Christmas Celebration 2009
Community Center, SJAFB
The First Assembly Choir hosted "Cider and a Song" on two Sunday evenings December 13, 2009 and December 20, 2009 which began at 6:00 PM. The event featured an array of Christmas music and a live nativity scene with Christmas praise dancers celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior while family and friends enjoyed a cup of hot Raven Cider, a variety of cookies, cheese and crackers.
The foyer was saturated with Christmas sounds and the fragrances of hot spicy Cider and freshly baked cookies as the choir sang from the balcony. This successful event was also a tool of witnessing the birth of Jesus to family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere. The event ended with Christmas carols sung by family and friends and a brief Christmas message.
As we embark upon the New Year, may your home be wrapped in the Savior's love, blessed in His peace and warmed by His abiding presence all year long. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
